Dr. McAllister

Dr. Linda McAllister is a Bancroft native and graduate of Durand public schools. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Michigan State University.

Her first five years in practice were in Battle Creek, Michigan. In 1984 she returned home and opened the Bancroft Veterinary Clinic, building the current facility in 1992. She has special interests in: 

• Internal medicine

• Geriatrics

• General surgery

"I wanted a career that would be interesting and allow me to make a difference in people's lives. Veterinary medicine has proven to be exactly what I was looking for." 

She is married to Charles and their family includes Emily, Daniel, Megan and husband Danny and their adorable daughter Eleanor. Dr. McAllister and her family reside in Bancroft on a small sheep farm. In her free time she enjoys playing in the Mason Symphony, fiber crafts and stained glass.
